The days are getting shorter, the weather is changing and I am sitting on the beach in south Florida. There are much worst places to live in the world. I am sure you’ve seen my travel posts come your way through this blog, but I haven’t taken the time to talk to you about the girl behind the blog. I actually don’t really like talking about myself, so I’ve been avoiding these types of posts. (Ha!!) However, I am attempting to make my blog feel a little more personal. October with Hello Megan Marie.
Let’s just dive in, and I am going to tell you a bit more about myself. I like to think of myself as a global citizen, the world traveler collecting experiences as she maneuvers herself around the world. I am 24 years old, and travel is pretty much my life. It’s my heart and soul. Comfort and excitement. Where some people stress about travel, I live for it. I love meeting people I’ve never met, hearing their stories and photographing beautiful places. You can check out my photography HERE. My love of travel transformed into this travel blog, where I can inspire others to seek their travel dreams.
I just recently returned from three months in Europe. It was epic. I met amazing people from multiple cultures. I learned German, and I photographed amazing places. Did I mention I love photography? It was a whirlwind. I arrived in Italy, with my whole life in my suitcase. My intention was to stay in Europe. But I learned: LIFE CHANGES. As the months went on, my plans continued to morph and change. New opportunities presented themselves, and I did a lot of reflecting and planning. After hours of thought and sitting in coffee shops, it all seemed to start to line up.

So the biggest life change, I’m going to live in Berlin for two years to study my masters. After a few bumps in the road, I will be fulfilling my dream of living abroad, studying my masters and traveling. Good things happen.

Currently, I am soaking up the sun in Florida. My first few classes are online, so I am chilling on the beach and staring at the water as I study. It’s a pretty chill life. I also love photographing palm trees and picking my future beach house. It’s the perfect place to escape to during those cold, German winters.
I have several more European blog posts coming your way in the next month. Don’t miss out and sign up for the Monday email blast to get the latest. It’s the best way to never miss a beat. SIGN UP HERE.
